Fitness Holidays can Aid in Keeping your Fitness Resolutions This Year



It can be hard to motivate yourself whilst you’re trying to meet a fitness goal. When it feels like you’re meeting a goal for its own sake, then things get hard, fast. That’s why it’s important to think of it differently. Fitness holidays are a great way to bundle fitness and incentive together.

Start with Small Commitments


The best way to get fit is to commit to three workouts a week. This isn’t a huge number, but it’s significant enough to make a difference. If you’re busy already, then three workouts may be your maximum.

If you’re just getting started, then three workouts is the ideal number for avoiding early burnout. In other words, three workouts is the number that strikes the best balance between easy commitment and effectiveness.

Keep Moving


Even if you’re not exercising, there are a lot of good reasons to keep moving. There are a few specific cases for those at risk, too. Those with high blood pressure or cholesterol may be able to help themselves a bit with consistent physical activity. The same sort of thing applies to smokers, or anyone at risk of clots.

Set a Goal


Above all, don’t forget to set a goal in the first place. The difficulty of motivating yourself isn’t from the goal; it’s from the difficulty of getting fit! But with perseverance, you can overcome that. Setting your goal is the best way to make sure you know where you’re going, and how far you need to go.
